I created the design on a piece of walnut veneer that I mounted on black mat board. I used Jack in the Pulpits, coreopsis, speedwell, ginkgo and maple leaves, as well as a feather in this creation. The piece of artwork is then permanently sealed before framing. I used a burled walnut frame on this one.
