Woodland Wonders 33x 43
In this piece I used a burled maple veneer in the background. I then created the design using Jack in the pulpits, fiddlehead ferns, running cedar, Lenten rose, Solomon’s seal, lichen, and so many other woodland wonders. I used feathers, skeletonized leafs, and a butterfly for the finishing touches. After I created the design I permanently seal the piece with a heat activated coating.
I triple matted this with a black and a gold inner mats and a white outer mat. The frame is a sold oak hardwood frame.
