This is an Asiatic Lily that I grew and preserved. I put the stem in food coloring and the flower absorbs the colors. I then press and dry the flower using my special process. After I create the design I then seal it with a special process so it is permanently preserved.

I framed this using a turquoise inner mat and a white outer mat. The frame is a wooden embossed pewter.
