Lavender is known for its soothing and healing properties. This is a single sprig of Lavender that I pressed and preserved. I painted the background using acrylic paints in metallic shades with some glitter, and various techniques I have developed. The piece is permanently sealed prior to framing. I used a pewter wooden frame on this one.
