Red Roses for a Blue Lady 16 x 20 Limited edition print

This print is in remembrance of and reverence for ALL women who struggle in this life. 

Notice the tiny silhouettes of women and girls of all ages, wandering through the garden of roses. 

The background is a mix of acrylic and watercolor, in every shade of blue imaginable, with a fine misty sheen of translucent pearlescent paint which gives the piece an ethereal quality. The other flowers used are- carnations, baby's breath, blue larkspur, red roses, and snapdragons.

I created this piece over a 2 month period when I was struggling with the untimely death of a female artist friend of mine. Red Roses for a Blue Lady seemed an appropriate title for this work of art. 

After I completed this piece I decided to have it published because we all struggle through this life, especially women. But even as we struggle we are strong, we grow, we learn, we love.

This edition is limited to 500. I sign and number each one. Once all 500 are sold there can be no more run. The size is 16 x 20.
